First BD Card for Little Someone

This handmade card I made for one little boy just for one hour, who will be celebrating his First Birthday on December 1st. I didn't have anything to make a BD Card for a boy, so I found out solution: Creative Park from Canon provide me with a lot of ideas and materials to make this scrap-birthday card! Hope the little someone will enjoy reading his first birthday cards in the future, and especially one made for him and send from USA with love ;))

New treasures

It has been long time since my last post. Busy summer took all my spare time away from scrapbooking and cardmaking. But I think I am ready to return, especially yesterday when I made HBD car for a friend. It was combination of scrap techniques and cardmaking basics. Unfortunately, I cannot show the card, it is private, but I hope that the addressee will be happy to receive absolutely handmade one! Anyways I have something else to share: my new treasures which I found,  of course, on clearance shelves at Michael Craft Store.

I am excited that it is already the time for Christmas and New Year theme in the store, that I can refill my collection of stickers for traditional New Year Cards for 2012!

Must have stamp list

Since my handwriting is not that good to put it everywhere on a birthday card, I decided to make must have stamp list with borders, and basic phrases. I already have some: Be Happy, Thanks, something special for you, but growing desire to make phrases look good within whole style it is not enough. So I have planned my next $10 purchase for April :)

My magic

The world of Scrapbooking is amazingly big. Every day new, fresh, creative ideas are coming into this world. And here I thought, how I can be distinguished from others. That's why I decided use everything that's around me to create handmade cards or scrapbooking pages without fancy tools such as double-side adhesive tape of die-cut machines, or even figure paper punches, but honestly saying I've just felt in love with Martha Stewart's ones, but I promised myself not to spent more than $10 a month for scrapbooking supplies, so maybe once it is $10 I'll have it.

So, I propose my statement to be a scrapper:

$10 a month, clearance items only
show that even budget scrapbooking can be fulfilled with ideas and creativity.

And here is my one magic box where I store my scap, and my place there I'm trying to do the magic..

My previous work

Struggling to reproduce something interesting using layouts from "Art Ugolok" I failed, but eventually create simple postcards for my friends’ birthdays basically assemble some of the scrap materials I have (paper and complementary ribbon). Luckily postcards have been already reached their recipients and pleased them a lot. There is nothing I can add to it. I'm glad they liked it :) My May born friends are coming so and new postcards ;)
